Design Studio for Children
Design Studio for Children is a place where, through play, you can try out your abilities in ceramics, kinetics, poster design and weaving, feel the differences between materials used in design and discover the stories presented by the interactive loudspeaker, Babbit. The activity zone has earned acclaim among professionals, receiving the Latvian Annual Design Award 2023 in the category Service Design.
The activity table engages visitors in exploring the themes represented in the museum and families to establish a closer bond with design in their everyday lives. Design Studio for Children will be of interest to children of different ages as well as adults. Several museum visitors can engage with it simultaneously whenever the 3rd floor exhibition Design Process is open.
