Museum's life as well as the movement of works in permanent and temporary exhibition halls is dynamic. The activities of the museum's art studio Me and Art also take place in ceaseless creative movement, every week taking on a new theme and assignment.

In the activities we invite visitors to become acquainted with art through personal experience by completing a creative assignment and grasping the content, technique, ways of thinking and personalities in the works of art. The main focus is on understanding different artistic movements, encouraging personal judgement and individual perspective.
The activities develop creative thinking, individual perspective and skills in creating forms. The activity is led by museum pedagogue and artist Diāna Dimza-Dimme.
Additional Information
- Tickets for the class stop being sold at the box office 15 minutes after the start of the class.
- It is recommended to arrive at the museum around 15-20 minutes before the beginning of the activity to allow time for the services of the ticket office and cloakroom.
- Meeting point at the Information Point (2nd floor lobby) before the lesson.
- Drawing takes place on the floor or on cushions. We recommend to come in comfortable clothes and use another pair of shoes in bad weather conditions. During the lesson, we ask you to keep quiet and not disturb other participants. After the lesson, each participant is responsible for cleaning his workplace.
