A Kilogram of Culture 2014

In the visual art category of the annual Latvian Television and Latvian Radio Kilogram of Culture awards, the prize went to the exhibition 1914 that was dedicated to the centenary of the First World War.

The scope of the exhibition, the non-standard and visually impressive interpretation as well as the side events – an international scientific conference, theatre and musica productions, seminars, lectures, meetings, creative workshops, special programmes for schoolchildren, touch screen games – were welcomed by diverse sections of the public.
