A Kilogram of Culture 2016

On January 23rd, 2017, Latvian National Museum of Art received the annual Latvian Television and Latvian Radio award “A Kilogram of Culture'” in the category “Event of the year” for reopening the renovated main museum building on 4th of May, 2016.

A Kilogram of Culture is an annual award given by Latvian Television and Latvian Radio for achievements in Latvian field of culture. Every year the jury of LTV and LR announce the nominees for viewers to vote and decide the winner of each category.
