  • Video stories “Art Restoration at the Museum” provides an opportunity to learn about the role of restoration in the museum, the ethical considerations faced by restorers, the specifics of storing and preserving works made in experimental techniques, as well as several other aspects related to art restoration.
  • Video series “The Story of One Painting ll” about artworks, which can be seen in the permanent exhibition “Latvian art 1985–2000”. The authors themselves tell stories about their works, revealing a direct and immediate idea about the context in which the artwork was created.
  • Video series ”The Story of a Photographer” in 8 mini-series tells stories about the art photographs of the second half of the 20th century and the 21st century, which are included in the museum's permanent exhibition, and their authors. The LNMA photography collection focuses on the works of masters whose names became widely known in the 1980s and especially in the 1990s - after the restoration of Latvia's independence
  • Mobile app. The mobile app allows everyone to discover and learn about the museum’s exhibitions and discover the unique architecture of the building. Application involves into an exciting story, revealing the details and nuances. Routes are enriched with audio guides of art works, augmented reality and interactive game elements.  Currently, the app also has a new route - Art Restoration in the Museum.   • The audio guide of the exhibition “Difficult Pasts. Connected Worlds” invites you to listen to the stories told by curators and artists and explore the exposition and its art works that bring together the difficult and often silenced aspects of pasts and their long-term legacies. Artists in the exhibition narrate those experiences through individual stories, while evoking broader layers of cultural memory. Available HERE.

  • Coloring pages: World cultures. We invite you to get to know various world cultures, to which the Art Museum RIGA BOURSE is connected, by painting works of art. Become an artist and add new backgrounds and details to an artwork. Available HERE.
  • Creative stencil painting kit "Lucky Cat - Maneki Neko" Art Museum RIGA BOURSE in cooperation with the children's brand Fox The Maker offers the opportunity to become a textile artist at home. The creative kit includes everything you need to paint a fabric with the design of “Lucky Cat - Maneki Neko” from the Foreign Art Collection of the Latvian National Museum of Art. Museum of Decorative Arts and Design

 

  • The MDAD collection contains the best samples of modern design. Among them are also the works of porcelain artists Skuja Braden, which surprises not only with their artifice, but also with their professionalism.   • "Madernieks’ studio" in every home. Inspired by the ornaments and designs of Jūlijs Madernieks, from the exhibition "The Style of Madernieks",we created a kit of creative tasks that will help everyone to create a holiday feeling. "Forest of Sculptures". Antique and Renaissance Plaster Cast Exhibition in Museum Storage Complex

 

 

  • # Looking for Moses. Get to know and discover the collection of plaster casts! Through video and photo stories, find out how the collection of plaster casts and the exposition "Sculpture Forest" were created. The main character of the stories is Michelangelo's "Moses" sculpture, which is one of the world-famous copies of sculptures on display in the "Sculpture Forest". 
  • The mobile guide "Sculpture Forest" allows you to get acquainted with world-famous and also lesser-known sculptures of Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome and Renaissance. Available HERE.
